This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives
• Oversee the designated territory and target accounts
• Cultivate robust customer relationships and address customer needs to enhance both short- and long-term sales performance
• Develop pre-call plan objectives and carry out post-call evaluations
• Address objections, clarify misunderstandings, and manage concerns to prompt actions that close sales calls
• Attend to customer needs and expectations to foster trusting relationships and secure mutually beneficial agreements
• Create and implement call plans that maximize coverage and frequency with key customers
• Gain insights into customer needs, territory market landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical data, and sales expertise
• Relay market intelligence to in-field, brand, and sales management teams
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition with assigned healthcare providers
• Identify, cultivate, and maintain disease-state experts and speakers/advocates
• Prioritize the patient in all initiatives while adhering to AbbVie’s code of conduct, policies, and applicable laws
• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience is required
• In the absence of a bachelor's degree: a minimum of five (5) years of experience, including three (3) or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science sector is preferred, along with a high school diploma/GED
• Demonstrated history of leadership success
• Strong presentation skills
• Excellent business acumen
• Proficient in using business tools
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking
• Skilled in identifying customer styles/behaviors and adapting sales approaches accordingly
• Effective operation in a matrix environment
• Meet HCIR credentialing requirements to secure and sustain access to facilities and organizations
• Maintain good standing and/or eligibility for HCIR credentials
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Capable of passing a pre-employment drug screening test
• Must comply with safe driving requirements
• Proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written, is preferred for non-English-speaking countries
