This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Implement AbbVie brand strategies and tactics within the field.
• Oversee the designated territory and focus accounts.
• Cultivate customer relationships and address their needs to enhance sales performance.
• Achieve sales goals, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing aims.
• Develop pre-call strategies and execute post-call assessments.
• Manage objections and secure calls to action during sales meetings.
• Establish trusted relationships with customers and reach mutually beneficial agreements.
• Create and implement call plans that optimize customer engagement and sales prospects.
• Analyze customer requirements, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, disease information, product details, clinical data, and sales metrics.
• Disseminate market intelligence to field, brand, and sales teams.
• Highlight AbbVie’s unique value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, nurture, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and advocates.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or equivalent and relevant industry experience is required.
• At least five (5) years of relevant and equivalent industry experience, with a preference for three (3) or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science sectors, is required if not holding a bachelor’s degree.
• A high school diploma/GED is required when utilizing the experience alternative.
• Comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.
• Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools is essential.
• Possess strategic and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated success in sales and strong presentation abilities.
• Capability to operate effectively within a matrix environment.
• Ability to recognize customer behavior and tailor selling strategies accordingly.
• Proven success in leadership and support roles with increasing responsibilities.
• Proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing standards and be in good standing, or be eligible to obtain credentials.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving criteria.
