This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Implement brand strategy and tactics in the field.

• Oversee designated territory and targeted accounts.

• Foster customer relationships and address customer needs to enhance both short- and long-term sales performance.

• Achieve sales targets, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.

• Prepare pre-call plans utilizing SMART objectives and carry out post-call assessments.

• Manage objections, concerns, and misunderstandings while securing calls to action during sales interactions.

• Address customer requirements and establish trusted relationships to foster mutually beneficial agreements.

• Create and implement call plans to maximize customer coverage, frequency, access, and sales potential.

• Gain insights into customer needs, market landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical topics, and sales expertise.

• Communicate market intelligence with field, brand, and sales management teams.

• Highlight AbbVie's value proposition to healthcare providers.

• Identify, cultivate, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts, speakers, and advocates.

• Adhere to AbbVie's business code of conduct, policies, and relevant laws and regulations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience is required.

• Alternatively, a minimum of five years of experience, with at least three years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred, along with a high school diploma/GED is required.

• Demonstrated success in sales.

• Strong presentation abilities.

• Comprehensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.

• Solid business acumen and proficient use of business tools.

• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.

• Ability to operate efficiently in a matrix environment.

• Proven leadership and support achievements at the district, regional, and/or organizational levels.

• Must possess a valid driver's license.

• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.

• Willingness to travel sufficiently to cover the territory, including overnight training sessions and sales meetings.

• Proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing.

• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain credentials.
