This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.

• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.

• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.

• Cultivate strong customer relationships and address customer needs.

• Develop pre-call plans utilizing SMART objectives and perform post-call evaluations.

• Manage objections, concerns, and misunderstandings, and secure calls to action to close sales successfully.

• Create and execute call plans that enhance coverage and frequency for key customers.

• Gain insights into customer needs, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical topics, and sales.

• Disseminate market intelligence among the in-field team, brand team, and sales manager.

• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.

• Identify, nurture, and maintain relationships with disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.

• Travel approximately 20% of the time and participate in scheduled training events and sales meetings.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience is required in lieu of a bachelor’s degree, with three (3) or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry preferred.

• A high school diploma/GED is required if utilizing industry experience in place of a bachelor’s degree.

• Proven success in sales performance.

• Strong presentation abilities.

• Comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.

• Excellent business acumen and proficient in the use of business tools.

• Strong strategic and critical thinking skills.

• Ability to function effectively in a matrix organization.

• Documented leadership and support success at the district, regional, and/or organizational levels.

• A valid driver’s license is necessary.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.

• Capability to travel adequately to cover the territory, including overnight attendance at scheduled training events and sales meetings.

• Ability to operate a personal vehicle or company car/truck, or powered material-handling equipment.

• Proficiency in the English language, both verbally and in writing.

• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be in good standing or eligible to obtain credentials.

• Must reside within a reasonable distance from Louisville, KY / primary city.
