This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Foster strong customer relationships and address customer needs to enhance sales performance.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial objectives, and marketing goals.
• Develop pre-call strategies utilizing SMART objectives and conduct evaluations after calls.
• Address objections, concerns, and misunderstandings to successfully close sales calls.
• Attend to customer requirements and cultivate trusted relationships.
• Formulate and execute call plans to maximize coverage and engagement with key clients.
• Enhance understanding of customer requirements, market landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales practices.
• Disseminate market intelligence to field teams, brand teams, and sales management.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition among healthcare providers.
• Identify, cultivate, and sustain disease-state experts and advocates/speakers.
• Collaborate with district colleagues, matrix teams, sales management, marketing, training, customer excellence, and brand-plan stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience.
• Alternatively, a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry, including three (3) or more years of relevant experience, along with a high school diploma/GED is required.
• Demonstrated success in sales.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Capability to adjust selling techniques based on customer style and behavior.
• Proficiency in developing sales strategies based on insights.
• Documented experience in leadership and support at district, regional, and/or organizational levels.
• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical sector is preferred.
• Proficient in English, both verbally and in written form.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to achieve them.
• Comprehensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.
• Strong business acumen and adeptness in utilizing business tools.
• Ability to think strategically and critically.
• Capacity to function effectively in a matrix environment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving criteria.
• Capability to operate a personal vehicle, company vehicle/truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
