This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics in the field.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.
• Oversee the designated territory and targeted accounts.
• Cultivate strong customer relationships and address customer needs.
• Develop pre-call plans based on SMART objectives and perform post-call assessments.
• Address objections and concerns, prompting actions to close sales calls.
• Fulfill customer needs and expectations to establish trusted relationships and reach mutually beneficial agreements.
• Create and execute call plans to achieve call metrics while optimizing coverage and frequency.
• Gain insights into customer needs, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical topics, and sales.
• Provide market intelligence to in-field, brand, and sales management teams.
• Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, cultivate, and maintain disease-state experts and speakers/advocates.
• Collaborate with in-field team members, sales management, marketing, training, customer excellence, and brand-plan stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.
• If no bachelor’s degree: a minimum of five years of experience, including three or more years in the pharmaceutical/health/science industry is preferred, along with a high school diploma/GED.
• Proven history of success in sales.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to tailor selling techniques to match customer styles and behaviors.
• Capability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
• Ability to influence others and act as a credible role model and resource.
• Skills in collaborative partnerships within district and matrix teams.
• Documented leadership and support experience at district, regional, and/or organizational levels.
• Understanding of findings to formulate sales strategies.
• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
• Proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written.
• Must meet applicable healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements.
• Must be in good standing to obtain necessary credentials.
• Comprehensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.
• Strong business acumen and adeptness with business tools.
• Strategic and critical thinking capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.
• Capacity to operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
• Must fulfill safe driving requirements.
