This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Implement brand strategies and tactics within the designated field.
• Oversee the assigned territory and manage targeted accounts.
• Cultivate customer relationships and address their needs to enhance sales performance.
• Achieve sales performance, brand KPIs, financial goals, and marketing objectives.
• Develop pre-call strategies utilizing SMART objectives and perform evaluations after calls.
• Address objections and concerns while securing calls to action during sales interactions.
• Attend to customer needs and foster trustworthy relationships with clients.
• Create and execute call plans to optimize coverage and frequency for key clients.
• Gain insights into customer needs, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, clinical information, and sales.
• Disseminate market intelligence among field teams, brand teams, and sales managers.
• Distinguish AbbVie’s value proposition to healthcare professionals.
• Identify, nurture, and sustain relationships with disease-state experts and advocates.
• Travel is required approximately 50% of the time.
• A bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related discipline is preferred, or equivalent relevant industry experience is required.
• Alternatively, candidates may present at least five years of experience, including three or more years in the pharmaceutical, health, or science sectors, along with a high school diploma/GED.
• A proven history of success in sales.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Capability to discern customer styles/behaviors and adjust sales tactics accordingly.
• Ability to devise innovative solutions and optimize business opportunities.
• Experience in leadership and peer coaching.
• Preferred experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and be qualified to obtain necessary credentials.
• Comprehensive knowledge of scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive aspects.
• Strong business acumen and adeptness in utilizing business tools.
• Capable of strategic and critical thinking.
• Ability to function effectively within a matrix environment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Capability to operate a personal vehicle, company vehicle/truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
