Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist pharmacists and patients by managing incoming calls related to Specialty Rx medications.

• Conduct administrative duties and initial data entry tasks, including the scanning of images.

• Handle incoming calls from patients and healthcare providers for prescription clarifications.

• Input prescription orders into the system as required.

• Offer telephonic support while ensuring compliance with Specialty Rx operational processes and programs.

• Operate within established call center productivity and quality standards.

• Understand departmental policies and procedures to complete tasks effectively.

• Recognize work expectations and quality benchmarks while prioritizing timelines.

• Adhere to standard policies and utilize independent judgment where applicable.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current license/registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Board of Pharmacy in the state of residence (Ohio, Arizona, Texas, or Florida).

• Certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or through ExCPT.

• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role.

• Self-motivated individual capable of thriving with minimal remote supervision.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proficiency in using multiple computer applications concurrently.

• Solid data entry capabilities.

• Availability to work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 11 p.m. EST.

• Enthusiasm for enhancing consumer experiences.

• Internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.

• A dedicated workspace free from ongoing disturbances to ensure the protection of PHI/HIPAA information.
