This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
• Promote laboratory testing services to professionals in the Clinical & C Suite environment within the Rare Disease field.
• Target genetics providers, neurologists, cardiologists, pediatric subspecialists, Regional Medical Groups, Regional Reference Labs, and Hospitals.
• Achieve and surpass sales targets while maximizing sales growth within the designated territory.
• Develop and implement an annual business plan, providing quarterly updates.
• Conduct cold calls and build a robust sales pipeline.
• Forecast and sustain a sales funnel of new prospects aligned with a 90-day quota.
• Organize travel logistics to enhance sales efficiency.
• Partner with Labcorp Clinical Sales colleagues on new business ventures.
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain the existing portfolio of clients.
• Participate in local and national professional trade shows and events as required.
• Articulate value propositions to targeted customers and prospects.
• Conduct in-services, training, and implementation with relevant personnel and physician staff.
• Update customer account details in Salesforce CRM Data Management Systems.
• Provide continuous customer support, product education, and market updates.
• Report directly to the Regional Director.
• Communicate and promote Labcorp Genetics and Rare Disease commercial offerings to clinicians and departmental staff.
• Identify, develop, and meet personal sales targets on a monthly basis.
• Engage in face-to-face interactions with physicians and travel frequently within Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in medical outside sales.
• At least 1 year of experience in the Rare Disease sector and established relationships with hospital systems, genetics, cardiology, neurology, and/or pediatric subspecialties (preferred).
• Prior experience in laboratory or diagnostics sales.
• Experience in medical device sales and business-to-business environments.
• Proven ability to manage a portfolio of business successfully.
• Strong collaboration skills with sales and operations teams to drive business growth.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Demonstrated history of recent achievements and sales successes.
• Strong consultative selling and closing capabilities.
• Ability to comprehend and convey complex scientific literature and utilize intricate clinical data as a crucial element of the sales process.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%, including occasional overnight trips.
