Specialist I – Generative AI and Agent Engineering, Direct Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Join the Agent Platform team, which serves as a centralized hub for the creation, management, and operation of LLM agents across Grupo Boticário’s various business channels.

• Develop an agent development platform that empowers functional teams to effectively utilize Generative AI independently.

• Design and execute robust, scalable architectures for autonomous agents utilizing LLMs and Generative AI methodologies.

• Create APIs using Django REST Framework and implement event-driven microservices for background operations.

• Model and manage both relational and non-relational databases to handle agent data efficiently.

• Develop reasoning logic for agents to facilitate planning, task execution, tool interaction, and data-driven decision-making.

• Experiment with and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agent tools.

• Participate in the entire lifecycle of Generative AI solutions, encompassing automation, monitoring, and observability.

• Collaborate with engineers, engage in code reviews, and contribute to maintaining best practices and technical excellence.

• Work alongside business teams on proofs of concept, prototypes, and pilot projects that involve Generative AI and agents.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in developing and deploying Large Language Model (LLM) solutions within production environments.

• Proficiency in Python programming.

• Familiarity with Django REST Framework.

• Understanding of frameworks for production LLM applications, such as Agno, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.

• Experience in designing and integrating AI systems.

• Knowledge of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and data ingestion techniques.

• Experience with contract-based tool invocation.

• Proficiency in APIs, asynchronous tasks, testing, code reviews, and contract evolution.

• Ability to design resilient solutions and tackle complex challenges.

• Familiarity with platform concepts such as multi-tenancy, authentication, and observability.

• Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.

• Preferred qualifications include experience with agent evaluation, quality metrics, conversation analytics, responsible AI practices, guardrails, prompt/tool security, GCP, Azure, AWS, multi-agent systems, structured output, multimodality, inference optimization, Apache Spark, BigQuery, Airflow, Kubeflow, Vertex AI, and fine-tuning open-source LLMs.
