Specialist – Business and Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and guide the design of business solutions, ensuring that the functional and technical aspects of components and integrations align with enterprise architecture principles.

• Articulate the current-state business vision and assist in shaping the future-state vision by proposing roadmaps that are in sync with both business and engineering teams.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture value streams alongside the business capabilities involved in initiatives, ensuring consistency with the strategic plan.

• Create the architectural vision for the Internal Audit’s adoption of AI agents, detailing where and how these agents will integrate with business capabilities and the broader corporate ecosystem.

• Document both contextual and technical perspectives in corporate architecture tools, producing standardized outputs to direct the architecture of new projects.

• Identify and advocate for the reuse of existing functionalities, managing reference architectures from inception to retirement.

• Present and defend solutions in architecture forums, covering various domains including business, solution, technology, integration, data, infrastructure, and security.

• Monitor and document technical debt in line with the bank’s architecture governance criteria.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Business Architect, Solution Architect, or Enterprise Architect within financial institutions or large-scale regulated environments.

• Deep conceptual and practical knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as BIAN, TOGAF, Zachman, or similar methodologies.

• Advanced hands-on experience with ArchiMate modeling notation and tools like Archi or Bizzdesign.

• Proficiency in the C4 Model (context and containers).

• Expertise in software design patterns, including microservices, REST APIs, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), event-driven architecture, and cloud-native applications.

• Familiarity with Generative AI architectures and agent-based systems, including large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), multi-agent orchestration (LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar), and agent harness concepts.

• Exceptional communication skills to effectively translate technical challenges into business language and vice versa.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Experience in leading through influence and serving as a liaison between engineering teams and senior management.

• Relevant industry certifications such as TOGAF, BIAN Foundation, or AWS or GCP Solutions Architect Professional.

• Knowledge of Internal Audit, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), or Internal Controls.

• Experience with initiatives related to AI agent adoption, agent evaluation (evaluation harness), and GenAIOps practices.

• Understanding of cloud AI platforms such as Vertex AI (Agent Builder) or equivalent systems.
