Legal Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Review, analyze, and negotiate NDAs, confidentiality agreements, and related transaction documents.

• Utilize client-specific playbooks and structured negotiation frameworks.

• Identify and manage deviations from standard positions, implementing suitable fallback language.

• Oversee high-volume document workflows while adhering to defined turnaround times and service levels.

• Support multiple concurrent transactions in dynamic, deadline-driven environments.

• Collaborate with a global legal team to ensure consistency and quality across all deliverables.

• Contribute to process enhancements and delivery efficiencies.

• Provide feedback to product teams to improve AI tools and workflows.

• Utilize Scissero’s AI-enabled platform for document review, deviation identification, and playbook application while maintaining accountability for final outputs.

• Assist with private equity, M&A, and financing transactions, primarily focusing on NDA and ancillary transaction documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• LLB (or an equivalent legal qualification).

• 1–3 years of experience in transactional legal work, contract review, or similar high-volume legal environments.

• Proven experience in reviewing NDAs and/or similar commercial agreements.

• Experience working within structured legal frameworks, templates, or playbooks.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver consistent, high-quality outputs.

• Excellent written and spoken English skills.

• Advanced English proficiency is required to support international clients and a global team.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting private equity, M&A, or financing transactions.

• Preferred: Background in law firms, in-house legal teams, Big Four legal practices, or Alternative Legal Service Providers (ALSPs).

• Preferred: Experience working with US or cross-border clients.

• Preferred: Exposure to legal technology, document automation, or AI-enabled workflows.
