This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Execute essential lending operations processes, including loan administration and servicing tasks.
• Process payments, transactions, service requests, administrative activities, and stakeholder inquiries within established service level agreements.
• Serve as a reliable advisor to the designated business/group.
• Evaluate issues and propose and implement effective business solutions.
• Recognize emerging challenges and trends to enhance decision-making.
• Assist in strategic initiatives involving both internal and external stakeholders.
• Engage with internal business partners and external customers concerning standard and non-standard inquiries.
• Consolidate information from various sources to refine processes, analysis, and reporting.
• Monitor and evaluate performance while addressing any issues that arise.
• Create change management plans and lead or participate in change initiatives.
• Design communication plans, customized messaging, and distribution channels.
• Develop, manage, review, and enhance business/group programs.
• Handle routine and complex transactions, inquiries, requests, audits, and reconciliations.
• Analyze and resolve intricate issues; serve as a backup for team members and the manager.
• Assess exceptions and consult with senior management when necessary.
• Deliver timely, precise, and efficient service.
• Lead or engage in continuous improvement initiatives for processes and systems.
• Identify business requirements and create tools and training programs.
• Aid in vendor solution implementation, maintenance, and ongoing support.
• Verify and reconcile information and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Detect and resolve discrepancies, escalating issues when needed.
• Enter, review, and confirm loan information and documentation.
• Manage records and documentation effectively.
• Collaborate on developing new processes/systems and enhancing existing ones.
• Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements and operational risks.
• Provide specialized consulting, analytical, and technical support.
• Utilize judgment to diagnose and resolve issues within set guidelines.
• Operate independently and manage non-routine situations.
• Implement the Risk Management Framework while safeguarding bank assets and adhering to policies, laws, and regulations.
• Generally, 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
• Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience with relevant systems and technology.
• Thorough understanding of the business unit’s key products, services, processes, and controls.
• Strong knowledge of the risk and regulatory requirements specific to the business.
• Excellent prioritization skills.
• Proficient PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Extensive knowledge and technical expertise gained through significant education and work experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
