This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Conduct remote interpretation sessions in a professional manner, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Be prepared to take notes during interpretation sessions.

• Acquire knowledge of industry-specific vocabulary, especially in the healthcare and medical sectors.

• Ensure precise and complete interpretation, avoiding any addition, omission, or substitution of information.

• Deliver exceptional customer service during interpretation sessions.

• Facilitate effective communication between clients and individuals with Limited English Proficiency.

• Engage in internal professional training and pursue additional certifications.

• Maintain communication and provide reports to your team leader.

• Follow dress code requirements for remote interpretation sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fluency in English and native-level proficiency in Spanish.

• At least 1 year of remote interpretation experience with a reputable organization.

• Strong grasp of medical terminology; familiarity with legal terminology is a plus.

• International certifications in the healthcare sector (e.g., PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA) are beneficial.

• High school diploma in your native language.

• High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity.

• Excellent skills in communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention.
