Spanish Multimedia Content Reviewer – Latin America

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Localize, translate, and adapt multimedia, legal, technical, and marketing materials in accordance with style guidelines.

• Create copy for products related to music, television, app stores, video-on-demand services, and game subscriptions.

• Conduct linguistic reviews of your own work as well as that of localization team members.

• Edit and fact-check content to ensure accuracy and clarity.

• Execute Localization QA testing on live platforms.

• Investigate local content treatment, terminology trends, and best localization practices.

• Transcribe spoken content, including lyrics.

• Generate reports on data and assets across different media and content formats.

• Review linguistic assessments and develop training materials and project documentation.

• Train localization partners on terminology, stylistic choices, and best practices.

• Collaborate with global language teams via virtual meetings and email communications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA).

• Over 2 years of professional experience in journalism, copywriting, or editing media content, particularly in music, television, and applications.

• Submission of writing samples is required.

• Experience with translation and localization of multimedia content.

• Strong ability to identify issues and inconsistencies within a vast array of content, making sound judgment calls based on available information.

• Comprehensive knowledge of music artists, television and film, gaming, and pop culture.

• Capability to take ownership of the language market and make confident linguistic decisions.

• Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.

• Strong computer skills.

• Ability to type in a native-level language using a local (English) keyboard.

• Ability to work independently and remotely.

• Team-oriented; enjoys collaborating in a multicultural environment.
