Spanish Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Facilitate effective communication between Spanish and English speakers.

• Process information swiftly and accurately in a professional manner.

• Handle calls with professionalism in accordance with the interpreter’s code of conduct.

• Possess familiarity with industry-specific terminology, particularly in healthcare and medical fields.

• Engage in internal professional training sessions.

• Communicate and provide reports to the team leader.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in both English and Spanish.

• Reside in Latin America.

• At least 1 year of interpretation experience.

• Strong listening, retention, and note-taking capabilities.

• Ability to convey accurate concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocols, ensuring no omissions or additions occur.

• Capacity to clarify certain cultural concepts to prevent miscommunication, with client permission or upon request.

• 90% proficiency in English.

• Reliable wired internet connection.

• USB wired headset.

• Operating system: Windows 10 or Mac.

• A quiet and secure working environment.

• Language testing and background checks may be necessary based on location.
