Spanish-English Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Professionally respond to calls in alignment with the interpreter’s code of conduct.

• Facilitate effective communication between Spanish and English speakers.

• Quickly and accurately process information in a professional manner.

• Ensure a quiet and secure interpreting environment.

• Utilize industry-specific vocabulary, particularly in healthcare and medical terminology.

• Engage in internal professional training sessions.

• Communicate and report updates to the team leader.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in both English and Spanish.

• Reside in Latin America.

• At least 1 year of interpretation experience.

• Outstanding listening, retention, and note-taking abilities.

• Capability to convey accurate concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocols, ensuring no omissions or additions.

• Ability to clarify cultural concepts to prevent miscommunication, with client consent or upon request.

• 90% proficiency in English.

• Reliable wired internet connection.

• USB wired headset required.

• Must use Windows 10 or Mac operating system.

• A quiet and secure workspace is essential.

• Language testing and background checks may be necessary based on location.
