Spanish-English Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

• Facilitate effective communication between speakers of Spanish and English.

• Process information swiftly and accurately while maintaining a professional demeanor.

• Handle calls in a professional manner in accordance with the interpreter's code of conduct.

• Gain familiarity with industry-specific terminology, particularly in healthcare and medical fields.

• Engage in internal professional development training.

• Communicate and provide updates to the team leader.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in both English and Spanish.

• Residing in Latin America.

• At least 1 year of experience in interpretation.

• Exceptional listening, retention, and note-taking abilities.

• Capability to convey accurate concepts and meanings in line with established interpretation protocols, ensuring no omissions or additions.

• Ability to clarify certain cultural concepts to prevent miscommunication, with client permission or upon request.

• 90% proficiency in English.

• Reliable wired internet connection.

• USB wired headset required.

• Operating system: Windows 10 or Mac.

• Must have a quiet and secure workspace.

• Language testing and background checks may be necessary depending on location.
