SOX Audit Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the management testing for SOX across various Assurant business segments

• Facilitate the implementation of new processes

• Conduct Model Audit Rule (MAR) management testing

• Support external audit processes

• Undertake additional assignments as required

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an Accounting or Finance degree program

• Must be a Junior graduating in 2028 or a Senior intending to pursue a master’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• Available to start right away

• Capable of working 20 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours during the summer and other breaks

• A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required

• Proficient in PC applications, including Excel, Word, and Adobe

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple complex projects at once

• Ability to perform under tight deadlines, demonstrating creative thinking and strong problem-solving capabilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Quick learner with a sharp attention to detail

• Strong collaboration skills and a team-oriented approach
