SOW Program Executive, Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Oversee the delivery of intricate, multi-year infrastructure projects, which include cloud transformation, data center strategies, network modernization, and platform engineering.

• Coordinate execution among engineering, architecture, operations, and business stakeholders.

• Align strategy, funding, workforce capacity, and delivery schedules.

• Collaborate with engineers and architects to determine solution direction, trade-offs, and feasibility of delivery.

• Ensure that programs are consistent with long-term architecture and platform strategies.

• Create program management frameworks that are aligned with engineering practices.

• Implement scalable dependency management, risk identification and mitigation, delivery tracking, and transparency measures.

• Infuse a product and platform mindset into program execution.

• Identify technical, operational, and organizational risks while driving strategies for mitigation.

• Provide clear, data-driven reports to senior leadership.

• Transform strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps.

• Align technology delivery with financial plans, workforce strategies, and enterprise priorities.

• Facilitate continuous planning and prioritization.

• Promote alignment across various teams, functions, and geographical locations.

• Lead forums that foster decision-making and accountability.

• Navigate through uncertainty and competing priorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10–15+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Engineering, or Infrastructure Delivery.

• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale infrastructure or platform programs in financial services or other similarly complex environments.

• Proven track record of delivering on public and hybrid cloud, data center infrastructure, network and connectivity, and platform engineering or distributed systems.

• Strong grasp of infrastructure architecture and distributed systems.

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, and modern infrastructure patterns.

• Ability to engage credibly in technical discussions with engineering teams.

• Proven ability to manage complex interdependencies across large organizations.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and capacity to operate amidst ambiguity.

• Experience in building or transforming program management practices.

• Executive presence and capability to engage senior stakeholders effectively.

• Ability to distill complex topics into clear, actionable insights.

• Strong judgment and decision-making abilities.
