Sourcing Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and implement strategic sourcing initiatives at the executive level.

• Oversee purchasing processes and manage workflows through relevant systems.

• Assist clinical team members with product research, cost assessments, and presentation of initiatives.

• Create and execute strategies and processes aimed at reducing supply costs while ensuring quality care.

• Monitor, communicate, and enhance the designated scope of work.

• Work collaboratively with team members, including physicians, to identify and develop improvements and standardization for assigned categories.

• Manage sourcing projects, encompassing scoping analysis, RFP creation, proposal assessments, negotiations, recommendations, contracting, supplier management, and budget oversight.

• Track and report on initiative and contract budgets; identify recurring trends and opportunities for vendor or internal improvements.

• Collaborate with legal teams to negotiate contracts on behalf of the organization or its members.

• Establish strategic partnerships with clients, suppliers, business allies, and key stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Analytics, or Healthcare (required; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree for Roper only).

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Informatics, Analytics, or Nursing (preferred).

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in sourcing relevant commodities for large healthcare systems.

• Demonstrated leadership skills.

• Knowledge of sourcing strategies.
