Sourcing Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and implement strategic sourcing initiatives.

• Oversee purchasing activities and manage process workflows through relevant systems.

• Perform product research, conduct cost analyses, and prepare presentations for clinical teams.

• Create and execute strategies aimed at reducing supply costs while ensuring quality care standards are upheld.

• Track, communicate, and enhance the designated scope of work.

• Work alongside team members and physicians to identify and develop opportunities for improvements and standardization.

• Oversee sourcing initiatives from initial analysis through RFP development, proposal assessment, negotiations, recommendations, contract management, supplier oversight, and budget control.

• Monitor and report on initiative and contract budgets; pinpoint trends and opportunities for enhancement.

• Partner with legal teams to negotiate contracts on behalf of the organization or its members.

• Establish strategic partnerships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Analytics, or Healthcare (required; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree for Roper only).

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in sourcing relevant commodities for large healthcare systems.

• Experience in supplier management.

• Skilled in contract negotiation and management.

• Proficient in sourcing strategy development.

• Ability to make evidence-based decisions.

• Strong analytical thinking skills.

• Excellent problem-solving capabilities.

• Competence in data analysis.

• Experience with spreadsheet modeling.

• Familiarity with workflow systems.

• Knowledge of contract lifecycle management.

• Proficient in enterprise systems.

• Experience with GPOs.

• Background in multi-market sourcing.

• Skills in cost management.

• Ability to support service lines.

• Experience in program implementation.

• Knowledge of change management processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
