Sourcing Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Create and implement sourcing strategies for Tech and Services categories.

• Oversee the complete sourcing process, from identifying business needs and conducting vendor research to contract finalization.

• Develop and distribute Requests for Proposals (RFPs) using Ariba.

• Perform market research and analysis to pinpoint potential suppliers and gather market insights.

• Lead the processes for supplier selection and qualification, including RFIs, RFPs, supplier evaluations, and negotiations.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to comprehend requirements and align sourcing strategies accordingly.

• Negotiate supplier agreements, terms, and pricing, including Master Service Agreements (MSA) and Statements of Work (SOW).

• Manage project plans for sourcing requests, from the gathering of requirements to contracting.

• Coordinate with legal, business stakeholders, procurement teams, and suppliers to finalize contracts.

• Document and analyze supplier submissions.

• Organize stakeholder meetings, presentations, and various sessions.

• Monitor RFx events, Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) management, contracting activities, and sourcing requests.

• Maintain project trackers and provide timely updates to stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Over 5 years of experience in sourcing/procurement.

• Demonstrated experience as a Sourcing Specialist, Procurement Specialist, or in a similar position.

• In-depth knowledge of strategic sourcing methodologies, procurement best practices, and supplier management.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Proficient in project management, business analysis, and process analysis.

• Familiarity with SAP Ariba, particularly in the Sourcing and Contract workspace.

• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Business hours: US 9–5 EST.

• CPSM or PMP certification is an advantage.
