This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities, pricing, and service offerings.
• Analyze procurement and sourcing data to uncover trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for enhancement in sourcing strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and execute strategic sourcing initiatives that align with business goals.
• Develop, enhance, and monitor supplier performance metrics, conducting regular evaluations to ensure compliance with contractual commitments.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to convey findings, recommendations, and sourcing strategies to stakeholders.
• Assist in supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions while upholding quality and service standards.
• Execute procurement tasks including PO placement, date management, BO review, and weekly and monthly reporting and analytics.
• Report directly to the Director of Sourcing and Procurement; this position has no direct reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Over 3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain analysis.
• Strong analytical abilities with expertise in data analysis tools, such as Excel or similar software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, data visualization, and/or other procurement software and tools for data analytics and reporting.
• Solid understanding of supply chain management principles and methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Capacity to build positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Preferred experience in a corporate or manufacturing procurement/sourcing environment.
• Preferred familiarity with supplier relationship management and performance evaluation techniques.
• Preferred knowledge of industry trends and best practices in sourcing and procurement.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship by the Company.
