This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee procurement and contract activities for various projects or programs, coordinating the workload and deliverables of the Procurement & Contracts team.
β’ Formulate procurement strategies and facilitate procurement planning meetings.
β’ Manage the complete lifecycle of solicitations, including RFQs, RFPs, and IFBs.
β’ Prepare, review, and negotiate design and construction contracts, primarily utilizing AIA and other standard industry forms.
β’ Ensure that contracts are aligned with client goals, regulatory requirements, and best practices for risk mitigation.
β’ Supervise procurement compliance, contractor onboarding processes, and monitor contractual performance.
β’ Assist in internal training and mentorship regarding contract administration, procurement procedures, and project delivery methodologies.
β’ Collaborate across various service lines to deliver integrated project solutions and advisory services.
β’ Play a role in the development of fee proposals and assist with client onboarding and service scoping.
β’ Identify opportunities for account expansion, cross-selling services, and fostering long-term client relationships.
β’ Manage and oversee project budgets, billing processes, and revenue forecasts.
β’ Engage in industry events and contribute to thought leadership initiatives.
β’ Achieve revenue and profitability targets established by leadership.
β’ Work during standard business hours.
β’ Perform additional duties as assigned.
β’ Capability to lead procurement strategy and contract negotiations for intricate construction programs.
β’ Strong understanding of design and construction procurement methods, including Design-Bid-Build, CMAR, and Design-Build.
β’ In-depth knowledge of AIA and other contract forms, including negotiation and amendment techniques.
β’ Proficiency with contract management platforms, tools, document control systems, and client/vendor portals.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of compliance, legal frameworks, and industry regulations related to public and private sector contracting.
β’ Effective delegation and team management abilities, including providing continuous feedback and coaching.
β’ Ability to track performance metrics, meet revenue targets, and support business development efforts.
β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on client interaction.
β’ Experience in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
β’ Entrepreneurial mindset with an emphasis on process optimization and client value.
β’ Proven leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior staff members.
β’ High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and commitment to contract compliance.
β’ Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Law, or a related field.
β’ 8 to 12 years of experience in construction procurement, contract management, and advisory roles within the AEC industry.
β’ Professional certifications such as MRICS, MCIArb, CPCM, CCM, or equivalent are preferred.
