This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives on technical discovery, architectural validation, and qualification.
• Provide support for high-value accounts in financial services and premier sectors, with contracts exceeding $500K.
• Present customized product demonstrations to meet client needs.
• Develop robust architectural designs that translate technical capabilities into business value and minimize risk.
• Take ownership of and execute technical Proofs of Concept.
• Manage data residency, security compliance frameworks, and achieve multi-stakeholder consensus.
• Relay field intelligence and technical insights to Cisco and Splunk Product Management teams.
• Contribute to shaping roadmap priorities while enhancing blended portfolio adoption within enterprise accounts.
• Act as a reliable technical advisor to CISOs, VPs of Engineering, and IT executives.
• Design cybersecurity, observability, and data platform solutions tailored for regulated enterprise accounts.
• At least 5 years of experience in technical pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or customer-facing systems engineering, specifically for enterprise or regulated accounts, or a Master’s degree plus 3 years / PhD.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct technical experience in at least two areas: SIEM/SOC operations, IT/DevOps observability, or regulatory compliance frameworks.
• At least 2 years of experience in architecting or analyzing native logging, monitoring, and security telemetry across AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in scoping and leading technical Proofs of Concept, writing technical RFP/RFI responses, and defending enterprise architecture designs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong skills in writing Search Processing Language (SPL) queries and practical knowledge of Splunk Cloud/Enterprise architectures, Enterprise Security, or IT Service Intelligence.
• Familiarity with data routing and pipeline optimization tools such as Cribl Stream, Kafka, or Edge Processor.
• Experience with strategies for architectural cost optimization.
• Capability to present intricate architectural and risk-reduction strategies to CISOs, CTOs, and technical procurement committees.
• Proven experience in co-selling within large matrixed sales organizations, channel partners, and professional services/CSM ecosystems.
• Proficient with REST APIs, Ansible/Terraform infrastructure-as-code automation, or hold credentials such as CISSP, CCNA/CCNP, or Splunk Certified Consultant.
