Senior Solutions Engineer – UK / IRE

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Account Executives and Account Managers to enhance technical discovery and align Teleport’s capabilities with customer objectives.

• Design and present demonstrations and proof-of-concepts that highlight Teleport’s Zero Trust, identity governance, and identity security features.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to engineering teams, platform engineering, DevSecOps, and security leaders.

• Provide guidance on safeguarding sensitive datasets and model endpoints using identity-based controls.

• Position Teleport as the go-to solution for the removal of API keys and static tokens within machine pipelines.

• Assist customers in exploring AI/LLM applications, including secure infrastructure for training and inference tasks.

• Offer structured insights to Product and Engineering regarding feature gaps and market demands.

• Work collaboratively with Marketing to produce thought leadership content on identity and AI security.

• Aid channel and technology partners in their technical enablement efforts.

• Contribute to go-to-market initiatives such as marketing materials, product positioning, customer interviews, sales-cycle optimization, conferences, brand advocacy, and meetups.

• Collaborate with infrastructure engineering and security teams at technology firms.

• Guide potential clients through technical evaluations and proof-of-value engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, DevSecOps, or a similar technical customer-facing position.

• Proficiency in using, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux systems and network-related issues.

• Strong understanding and practical troubleshooting experience with Kubernetes.

• In-depth knowledge of at least one cloud computing platform.

• Comprehensive understanding of DevSecOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and securing infrastructure at scale.

• Advanced knowledge of identity security and contemporary Zero Trust security methodologies.

• Capability to develop scripts and automate processes using Linux shell, Go, and Infrastructure as Code tools.

• Strong grasp of system architecture, provisioning, and administration.

• Familiarity with AI/LLM infrastructure, including GPU clusters, data governance, inference workloads, and ML pipelines.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Capacity to engage technical and executive stakeholders with credibility and clarity.

• Strong skills in presentation, demonstrations, and whiteboarding.

• Experience with AI technologies and infrastructure, including LLMs, MCP, vector databases, and AI tools.

• Knowledge of traditional infrastructure networking and security, including Linux/Unix, Windows, VPNs, and bastion hosts.

• Familiarity with modern cloud-native technologies, including cloud computing, containers, and Infrastructure as Code.
