Solutions Engineer – Pre-Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Become a part of Coralogix’s pre-sales team on the East Coast as a Solutions Engineer

• Take charge of the technical strategy for sales opportunities alongside Account Executives

• Lead the discovery process focusing on customer architecture, telemetry sources, operational challenges, business drivers, and success criteria

• Create and present customized demonstrations linked to actual customer use cases

• Oversee technical evaluations and proof-of-concept initiatives from initial scope to final validation

• Assist in hands-on deployment, configuration, integration, and troubleshooting throughout evaluations

• Collaborate with customers on logs, metrics, traces, Kubernetes, cloud environments, applications, and security scenarios

• Articulate Coralogix’s architecture, unique features, and value proposition to both technical and executive audiences

• Identify technical challenges, eliminate obstacles, and guide customers towards successful technical resolutions

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Support to relay field feedback and enhance sales execution

• Serve as the technical lead during evaluations, assisting customers with the deployment, configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and validation of Coralogix within their environments

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical position, such as Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, Solution Architecture, Technical Consulting, DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or Security Engineering

• Robust hands-on technical expertise in deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and integration tasks

• Comprehensive understanding of observability, encompassing logs, metrics, traces, APM, dashboards, alerting, and infrastructure monitoring

• Proven experience in leading technical evaluations, conducting product demonstrations, and managing proof-of-concept processes

• Capability to engage credibly with engineers, DevOps, SRE, platform, and security teams

• Assurance in interacting with executives and translating technical value into business outcomes

• Practical knowledge of cloud-native environments, distributed systems, containers, and contemporary infrastructure

• Proficiency in coding or scripting languages such as Python, Go, Java, JavaScript, Bash, or similar

• Excellent communication, ownership, follow-through, and commercial insight

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized settings

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Understanding of OpenTelemetry

• Experience with Prometheus

• Background in Docker

• Knowledge of APM and distributed tracing

• Experience with log analytics and telemetry pipelines

• Familiarity with SIEM or security monitoring

• Experience in infrastructure monitoring

• Knowledge of RUM

• Familiarity with Terraform, Helm, or deployment automation

• Experience with CI/CD workflows

• Knowledge in application instrumentation and debugging

• Candidates must reside within the US Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT)
