Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate comprehensive discovery sessions to grasp customer requirements, reveal industry challenges, and pinpoint opportunities for added value.

• Develop, tailor, and demonstrate innovative solutions utilizing Versapay’s application suite along with associated partner technologies.

• Collaborate with customers and potential clients to synchronize business needs with Versapay’s technological offerings.

• Offer technical insight during RFIs/RFPs, suggest customized configurations and integrations, and resolve any objections.

• Continuously improve product, sales, and technical knowledge through ongoing training; uphold certifications.

• Work in conjunction with management to establish and meet quarterly and annual objectives.

• Partner closely with product, sales, and customer success teams to ensure a smooth customer journey.

• Travel occasionally within the US and Canada to connect with clients and partners, participate in conferences, and foster relationships.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 3+ years of experience in a Solution Engineer, Sales Engineer, or a comparable consultative position within a Financial Technology company or a related field.

• Strong comprehension of Accounts Receivable, Payments, or related financial processes.

• Experience in enterprise-level sales and roles that involve direct customer interaction.

• Familiarity with one or more mid-market to enterprise-level accounting systems such as Oracle NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and Microsoft Dynamics 365.

• Knowledge of programming tools like JavaScript, REST APIs, HTML5/CSS, and SQL is advantageous.

• Understanding of cybersecurity principles is a plus.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, capable of simplifying complex ideas and presenting confidently to varied audiences.

• Proven history of effective collaboration in cross-functional teams, managing multiple projects, and delivering results within tight deadlines.

• Willingness to travel across the US and Canada as necessary.
