Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Leverage scientific principles to deliver AI-driven business solutions for both customers and prospects.

• Showcase and demonstrate the capabilities of the NobleAI VIP Platform to prospective clients.

• Create demonstrations of use cases that incorporate the VIP Platform, bespoke models, agentic workflows, or API integrations.

• Grasp the nuances of chemistry and business limitations while identifying relevant prospect data.

• Develop statements of work informed by customer discovery processes.

• Cleanse and analyze customer data to construct predictive models.

• Clarify model limitations to scientists and interpret results in terms of business implications.

• Collaborate with AI, Product, and Engineering teams to transform prototypes into viable customer solutions.

• Partner with the sales team and serve as a technology advocate for NobleAI offerings.

• Travel to client locations as necessary, up to 30% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a closely related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in technical consulting, forward-deployed engineering, or solutions-oriented marketing.

• At least 3 years of technical experience and 2 years in a customer-facing role.

• Demonstrated capability to achieve measurable outcomes through consultative or solution selling.

• Strong business insight and the ability to convey complex technical ideas, foster relationships, and articulate the overarching narrative.

• Experience in engaging customers, facilitating pre-sales efforts, or excelling in customer success roles.

• Proficiency in computational chemistry.

• Solid understanding of machine learning principles and data science tools.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Capacity to effectively collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders, including AI scientists and ML engineers.

• Competence in data analytics, visualization, data management, and predictive modeling tools.

• Proficiency in Python, especially with libraries such as Pandas, scikit-learn, Plotly, Streamlit, and Flask.

• Experience in JavaScript and front-end/back-end web application development.

• Practical experience in constructing and prototyping technical solutions using Python, Streamlit, and other programming languages.

• Prior experience in a startup environment is a plus.

• Familiarity with SaaS applications and deployment is an added advantage.
