Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide consultation on the sale, design, and implementation of IT products and solutions.

• Create solutions for managed service plans, cloud migrations, and AI initiatives.

• Evaluate client IT infrastructures and offer illustrative recommendations.

• Draft comprehensive Statements of Work for clients and internal reference.

• Formulate budgets that align with client and business objectives.

• Analyze, prepare, and present Quarterly Business Reviews for designated clients.

• Collaborate with the sales team during initial prospect engagements.

• Work in partnership with Client Executives, Account Managers, Sales Operations, field teams, delivery personnel, and client stakeholders.

• Serve as a trusted advisor providing secure, scalable, and outcome-driven solutions.

• Manage multiple concurrent client proposals in a dynamic MSP setting.

• Provide after-hours support to clients as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in presales designing IT solutions that align with client business goals.

• Technical knowledge in managed services, cloud solutions, AI, cybersecurity, networking, data protection, compliance, and digital transformations.

• Background in consulting on the sale, design, and implementation of IT products and solutions.

• Capability to evaluate existing IT environments and communicate recommendations effectively.

• Proficiency in developing detailed Statements of Work.

• Skill in creating budgets that correspond with client financial plans and business objectives.

• Ability to analyze, prepare, and present Quarterly Business Reviews.

• Experience managing multiple concurrent client proposals in a fast-paced Managed IT Services environment.

• Presales expertise with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, MFA, Microsoft Copilot, and Microsoft-based servers and workstations.

• Familiarity with Azure, AWS, GCP, Nutanix, AI technologies, EDR, MDR, SIEM, SOC, SOAR, backup and disaster recovery solutions, network firewalls, managed switches, SOC 2, and CMMC.

• Current Microsoft or AWS certifications are advantageous.

• Must reside in the Pacific Standard Time (PST) zone, with a strong preference for candidates in California, Washington state, or Seattle.

• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, with after-hours support as needed.

• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
