Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Become a vital member of a dynamic, early-stage Solutions Engineering team experiencing rapid growth.

• Collaborate with the Sales team to effectively convey Grafana's value proposition, vision, and strategic direction.

• Take ownership of technical customer interactions and assist in closing swift opportunities.

• Present product and technical information to both prospective and current customers.

• Engage with customers and internal teams to gather product insights and competitive analysis.

• Propel product discussions based on the needs and challenges of customers.

• Improve documentation and produce blog posts, videos, knowledge base articles, and training resources.

• Guide customers through demos, hands-on training, presentations, technical assessments, and continuous engagement.

• Act as a communication link between customers and the Product Management and Engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferably based on the East Coast.

• Over 5 years of experience in technical pre-sales roles.

• Experience with Open Source technologies or within the Metrics/Monitoring domain is preferred.

• Possess strong judgment, collaboration skills, and leadership qualities.

• Capable of working and collaborating effectively with an international team.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to clearly articulate the company's value proposition and the advantages of its technical products.

• Skilled in addressing technical challenges and developing solutions for clients.

• A technical mindset with a strong desire for personal and professional growth.

• Background in coding bootcamps, post-sales roles, or engineering is a plus.

• Self-driven, proactive, and innovative.
