This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Quickly design and deliver client-facing solutions, including Statements of Work (SOWs) and Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Work in conjunction with Sales and internal technical teams to convert client requirements into precise, supportable architectures that adhere to Corsica standards.
• Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, document assumptions, and modify solutions as new information becomes available.
• Collaborate with delivery and project teams to ensure that sales-scoped solutions are feasible, comprehensive, and ready for implementation.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of Corsica’s service catalog, core technologies, and evolving offerings.
• Assess new products, services, and solution strategies, including providing support for proofs of concept when needed.
• Participate in Sales and Sales Engineering workflows to ensure that opportunities are documented and adhere to company protocols.
• Record time, activities, and progress in the PSA.
• Assist the sales team by translating client needs into practical, client-centered solutions.
• Perform occasional physical tasks including standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, or kneeling.
• 7+ years of practical experience in IT, encompassing engineering, systems, networking, cloud, security, or related technical fields.
• Proven experience in supporting or leading pre-sales solution design, scoping, or consulting activities.
• Preferred: 4+ years in a Solutions Engineer or similar capacity.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Autotask CRM/PSA.
• Ability to swiftly evaluate technical requirements, recognize risks and dependencies, and steer solutions through the sales process.
• Capability to balance strategic solution design with hands-on execution in a dynamic, consulting-focused environment.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and make informed decisions with minimal oversight.
• Skill in managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Capacity to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with additional hours as necessary.
• No regular travel required; infrequent overnight travel may be necessary to other Corsica locations.
• Remote work environment.
• Full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with additional hours as needed.
