This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Serve as a reliable AI technical consultant for both clients and internal teams.
• Assist in new client engagements by comprehending technical needs, evaluating feasibility and risks, identifying dependencies, and converting insights into actionable strategies.
• Assess the technical quality and preparedness of ongoing AI programs.
• Evaluate content, labs, code samples, and demonstrations for precision and accuracy.
• Conduct testing of technical exercises.
• Develop and evaluate lightweight prototypes, proofs of concept, labs, simulations, and internal tools.
• Collaborate directly with AI models, APIs, and developer tools to verify proposed methodologies.
• Simplify intricate AI concepts and terminology into clear, actionable briefs.
• Provide guidance on suitable AI tools and methods, including their trade-offs.
• Identify and manage discrepancies between client expectations and technical realities.
• Prepare and assist facilitators on complex AI concepts, demonstrations, and anticipated client inquiries.
• Stay updated with AI models, developer tools, and implementation practices, offering practical recommendations.
• Document and disseminate valuable technical patterns.
• Ensure that Quadmark's AI initiatives are technically sound from the initial client interaction through to delivery.
• Practical experience in building and testing AI tools, applications, labs, simulations, prototypes, or API integrations.
• In-depth understanding of large language models and foundation models, encompassing their functionality, limitations, context, data flows, and multimodality.
• Familiarity with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, and model fine-tuning.
• Knowledge of agentic systems, tools and actions, workflows, orchestration, and MCP.
• Comprehension of AI evaluation and safety, including evaluations, guardrails, moderation, human-in-the-loop strategies, and observability.
• Experience in advisory roles, consulting, solutions engineering, or similar positions that assist others in understanding which AI tools or methods to employ and their rationale.
• Strong client-facing experience, including confidence in communicating with senior and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to distill complex technical information into straightforward, precise language for diverse audiences and teams.
• Excellent problem decomposition skills.
• Must have eligibility to work in the UK.
