This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage a portfolio of both new and existing accounts, maintain a service number, and provide accurate forecasts.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions independently.
• Define the scope and pricing for engagements.
• Draft proposals and statements of work, and advocate for the defined scope.
• Initiate the first sprint on sold engagements with hands-on involvement before transitioning to a delivery lead.
• Develop reference architectures, demonstrations, and proofs of concept that align with the intended deployment.
• Collaborate with partner channels at Snowflake and Databricks through co-selling efforts.
• Integrate field insights into service line definitions and pricing strategies.
• Manage the client relationship from the initial call through to production.
• Engage in the screening, technical working, commercial, leadership, and reference aspects of the hiring process.
• A minimum of 5 years in a client-facing technical role within a data platform, analytics, or AI organization, such as Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Executive.
• Demonstrated evidence of revenue ownership; responsible for a quota or served as the designated technical owner on deals that can be quantified and detailed.
• Hands-on engineering experience within the last three years.
• Proficiency in writing SQL and Python.
• Experience in deploying pipelines using dbt, Airflow, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with debugging issues in a production environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Snowflake or Databricks, and proficiency in the other platform.
• Capable of establishing credibility with both a Chief Data Officer (CDO) and a staff engineer.
• Ability to sell based on scope and outcomes rather than just licenses and features.
