Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee all technical elements of pre-sales interactions for intricate, high-value clients.

• Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to create customized EVSE frameworks, energy management approaches, and battery storage solutions.

• Lead and supervise intricate technology assessments as the chief technical authority during pre-sales activities.

• Execute engineering site and architecture evaluations both virtually and on-site.

• Develop solutions for light-, medium-, and heavy-duty fleets, encompassing charging capabilities, dwell times, routing, scheduling, and energy management.

• Design software API implementations and integrate third-party solutions.

• Create and present technical presentations and product training sessions.

• Head technical responses for RFPs and tenders while assisting in the development of Statements of Work and proposals.

• Convert customer insights and market trends into valuable product roadmap contributions.

• Address technical challenges during the transition from pre-sales to deployment.

• Keep abreast of electrical installation regulations, EVSE standards, battery energy storage, and high-power solutions.

• Provide guidance to clients on technical best practices and system architecture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or relevant practical experience.

• At least 8 years of combined experience in technical sales, consulting, or solutions engineering.

• Demonstrated success in managing complex enterprise accounts.

• Fundamental understanding of electrical engineering, telecommunications, IT infrastructure, or software development.

• Outstanding presentation, verbal, and written communication abilities.

• Strong customer-facing skills with the capacity to cultivate strategic relationships.

• Proficiency in navigating intricate stakeholder landscapes.

• High level of self-motivation and analytical thinking.

• Ability to independently manage time and prioritize key initiatives.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% across Europe, mainly within the UK and Ireland.

• Preferred: direct experience with fleet vehicle operations, routing, and scheduling logistics.

• Preferred: working knowledge of High Power charging solutions and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

• Preferred: experience in large-scale facility electrical planning and energy management systems.

• Preferred: background in technical writing for complex proposals and technical documentation.
