Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Stay updated with Solutions Engineering methodologies, industry best practices, and developments in the security landscape.

• Provide solutions that meet client requirements and distinguish BeyondTrust's offerings.

• Work in partnership with Account Executives and internal teams to ensure alignment of technical and sales goals.

• Convert customer needs into technical capabilities and promote effective communication.

• Conduct product demonstrations and deliver technical presentations.

• Lead proof-of-concept evaluations.

• Articulate product features to customers and stakeholders.

• Identify and execute enhancements to pre-sales processes, methodologies, and workflows.

• Support with Requests for Proposals/Information (RFP/RFI).

• Represent BeyondTrust at industry events, trade shows, and customer seminars.

• Offer technical support and guidance to channel partners.

• Continuously improve knowledge of products, industry trends, and customer use cases.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in pre-sales engineering or technical support roles related to privileged access management (PAM), identity security, or comparable enterprise applications.

• At least 3 years of experience collaborating with global software vendors.

• Proficient in presenting technical solutions and distinguishing products from competitors.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Mac, Linux/Unix, Active Directory, SQL, VMware, and Hyper-V.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting at trade shows or conferences.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CCSP, or CEH are preferred.

• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and environments is advantageous.

• Prior experience with BeyondTrust solutions or similar technologies is a plus.
