Solutions Engineer – APAC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Asia.

📋 Description

• Serve as a reliable technical consultant for clients, ensuring solutions meet both technical and business needs.

• Prepare and deliver personalized, live demonstrations of Sumsub’s comprehensive platform.

• Collect technical specifications, evaluate integration requirements, and establish solution architectures.

• Discover upselling and cross-selling potential within current enterprise accounts.

• Lead proof of concept initiatives and trials during new business and account expansion phases.

• Assist sales and account management teams throughout the sales process.

• Address RFPs and RFIs, responding to customer inquiries through both written and verbal communication.

• Guide clients on best practices for API and SDK integration.

• Collaborate with teams from Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Customer Success.

• Offer technical knowledge and architectural direction to Tier-1 prospects and leads.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ability to swiftly learn new technologies and convey complex technical concepts as clear business benefits.

• Strong working knowledge of APIs, SDKs, and cloud-based SaaS architectures.

• Hands-on coding experience is advantageous but not essential.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Confidence in presenting to diverse stakeholders.

• Previous client-facing or presales experience is a significant plus.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills for integrations and customer needs.

• Interest in Fintech, RegTech, Fraud Prevention, and Compliance; experience in the domain is preferred but not required.

• Full professional proficiency in English and Chinese, both written and spoken.

• Willingness to travel across the EMEA region for client meetings, workshops, and industry events.
