Solutions Design Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Assist in driving regional business growth by collaborating with Business Development and Operations teams to create, develop, and execute customer-centric supply chain solutions.

• Evaluate customer supply chains, transportation networks, and operational workflows to pinpoint opportunities for optimization, efficiency, and service enhancement.

• Oversee the implementation and configuration of Infor Nexus solutions, which includes EDI integrations, customer onboarding, and system upgrades.

• Offer subject matter expertise and carry out customer demonstrations.

• Provide training and create operational documentation, such as SOPs, work instructions, and user manuals.

• Track operational performance and compliance.

• Actively address issues and support continuous improvement initiatives to guarantee service excellence.

• Assist with RFQs, proposals, and solution development tasks alongside Business Development, Global Solution Design, and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Function as the regional point of contact for inquiries related to Infor Nexus and Air & Ocean Solutions.

• Deliver ongoing operational and customer support.

• Execute additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 5–8 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain management, solution design, or a related field.

• Proven track record of leading cost-reduction initiatives and enhancing operational efficiency.

• Familiarity with supply chain management systems, Infor Nexus, business analytics, and process improvement methodologies.

• Strong skills in analysis, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Visio, and various business systems and technologies.

• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a collaborative, cross-functional, and team-oriented environment.

• Regional travel is required.
