Solutions Consultant I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage in and assist with product demonstrations

• Measure the impact of suggested changes while aligning customer requirements, opportunities, and goals

• Conduct engaging, concise, and customized product demonstrations

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Paylocity’s product offerings, updates, and enhancements

• Deliver clear and detailed solutions regarding Paylocity products, processes, and timelines

• Support internal teams with functional and technical aspects of RFIs/RFPs

• Assess client challenges and offer innovative solutions tailored to their specific needs

• Focus on client satisfaction and retention

• Identify and record client requirements

• Collaborate with internal teams on custom programming, custom reports, integrations, and alternative solutions

• Suggest ideas based on market insights, product knowledge, and competitive analysis

• Participate in conferences, trade shows, and other relevant events

• Work together with Marketing, Product Advisors, Product Development, OPPs, and Release Management

• Partner with Service, Current Client Consultants, and Inside Sales teams to secure business

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in a dynamic sales or service organization

• Excellent presentation skills

• Professional written and verbal communication abilities

• Organized and analytical mindset

• Capability to overcome obstacles using creative and adaptive strategies

• 2–3 years of experience in the HCM industry, either in sales or an operations role, is required

• Familiarity with Paylocity products is preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent is required

• Availability to work five days a week during designated hours

• Proficiency in using standard office equipment, including computers, phones, printers, and copiers

• Strong communication skills in person, via phone, and through email

• Ability to lift and carry up to 5 pounds as necessary

• Capability to maintain focus and attention to detail for extended periods

• Willingness to travel occasionally
