Solutions Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Business Development to create strategic solutions and foster relationships that drive business success in the targeted market.

• Address the needs of transit agencies by leveraging Masabi’s fare collection platform to provide effective solutions.

• Develop solutions that showcase the advantages of Masabi’s open platform and highlight its unique features.

• Establish connections with technical stakeholders early in the sales process.

• Conduct demonstrations that vividly illustrate the proposed solutions.

• Contribute to proposals by illustrating how the product aligns with requirements and pinpointing any gaps.

• Coordinate with Product and Engineering to ensure genuine product gaps are included in the development roadmap.

• Transform agreed-upon solutions into Statements of Work and commercial documentation.

• Assist with the transition to Delivery once deals are finalized.

• Facilitate pre- and post-sale discovery workshops.

• Ensure stakeholder alignment on solution design from the RFP response to the detailed design of complex solutions.

• Aid Product, Engineering, and PMO in understanding implementation requirements.

• Provide agency insights back to Product and Engineering to influence the roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must be located in the UK and possess the current right to work in the UK.

• Background in technical consulting, solutions engineering, or a product-oriented role is essential.

• Knowledge of APIs, data models, and integration processes is required.

• Experience in contributing to RFPs, Statements of Work, or structured procurement responses is necessary.

• Ability to guide various stakeholders through complex issues and arrive at pragmatic solutions.

• Experience with enterprise or public-sector clients in intricate environments such as transit, mobility, govtech, or fintech.

• Capacity to consider commercial, technical, and delivery factors collaboratively when formulating a solution.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor explanations for diverse audiences.

• Ability to collaborate across teams and manage incomplete information effectively.

• Familiarity with fare collection systems or transit agency settings is preferred.

• Experience with partner integrations involving third-party hardware or SaaS platforms is advantageous.

• Experience in other regulated, tender-led sectors is a plus.

• Background in enhancing documentation, diagrams, or training materials for partners and new employees is desirable.

• While professional experience with AI tools is not mandatory, a willingness to experiment with AI tools and an inquisitive mindset regarding their application are anticipated.
