Solutions Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Business Development to create solution strategies and cultivate relationships that facilitate business wins in the target market.

• Align transit agency requirements with Masabi’s fare collection technology.

• Develop solutions that highlight the advantages of Masabi’s open platform.

• Establish connections with technical stakeholders early in the sales process.

• Conduct product and solution demonstrations.

• Assist in preparing bids and responses to RFPs.

• Identify product deficiencies and work closely with Product and Engineering on roadmap planning.

• Convert agreed-upon solutions into Statements of Work and commercial documentation.

• Facilitate the transition into Delivery.

• Lead pre-sale and post-sale discovery workshops.

• Ensure stakeholder alignment on solution design from RFP response through to detailed design.

• Aid Product, Engineering, and PMO in understanding implementation requirements.

• Provide agency insights back to Product and Engineering to guide the roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in technical consulting, solutions engineering, or a product-oriented role.

• Knowledge of APIs, data models, and integration processes.

• Background in contributing to RFPs, Statements of Work, or structured procurement submissions.

• Capability to navigate diverse stakeholders through intricate subjects and arrive at actionable solutions.

• Experience engaging with enterprise or public-sector clients in challenging environments such as transit, mobility, govtech, or fintech.

• Ability to harmonize commercial, technical, and delivery aspects.

• Strong communication skills with the capacity to tailor explanations to various audiences.

• Proficiency in collaborating across teams with limited information.

• Advanced English proficiency at B2 level or above.

• Must reside in Colombia.

• Transit or fare collection experience is requested in the application form.

• Familiarity with fare collection systems or transit agency settings is a desirable quality.

• Experience with partner integrations that involve third-party hardware or SaaS platforms is a plus.

• Background in another regulated, tender-led industry is an advantage.

• Experience in enhancing documentation, diagrams, or enablement materials is appreciated.

• Openness to experimenting with AI tools and interest in their applications.
