This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of discovery and solution design for opportunities within government sectors.
• Collaborate with Revenue teams on qualification, stakeholder engagement, and solution alignment.
• Lead structured pre-sales discovery sessions with government stakeholders.
• Identify desired outcomes, success metrics, obstacles, context, and purchasing criteria.
• Create and deliver value-based solution presentations that align with agency missions and functional goals.
• Convert customer requirements into solution narratives that reflect executive priorities and economic value.
• Collaborate across teams with Architects, Product, and Services to verify solutions and identify risks.
• Contribute to internal frameworks, configuration playbooks, templates, and reusable content.
• Share insights from discovery and solutioning to enhance messaging, product direction, and field enablement.
• Generate solution design documentation that supports deal and account strategies.
• Participate in retrospectives, tools, and enablement efforts based on field experience.
• Assist with active revenue opportunities through discovery, solution design, and executive-level presentations.
• Note that this role does not include post-sale implementation ownership, configuration-heavy or developer-led consulting, or long-term customer support.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a presales role (Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineer, or similar).
• Experience in GovTech preferred, with a focus on state, local, or federal government sales cycles.
• Background in supporting new and expansion SaaS sales.
• Demonstrated ability to lead discovery sessions, solution presentations, and demos in complex buying scenarios.
• Proven track record in value engineering, including ROI/Cost of Inaction statements, financial implications, and economic business cases.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to create structured solution designs utilizing templates, visuals, and narratives.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, and collaborative solutioning environments.
• Consultative, customer-focused mindset with an interest in public sector modernization.
• Proficiency in AI-enabled productivity tools.
• Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company information assets.
• Responsible for ensuring data privacy and completing necessary privacy training.
