Solutions Architect, Python, Microservices

📋 Description

• Design and develop architectures for microservices using Python

• Implement resilience patterns, RESTful APIs, and messaging/event-driven methodologies

• Collaborate with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and automate infrastructure

• Configure, fine-tune, and model PostgreSQL databases for distributed systems

• Align coding requirements with hardware and network capacity in on-premises and hybrid cloud setups

• Identify architectural risks, recognize technical debt, and address obstacles

• Influence and steer solutions based on open-source technology while complying with client governance

• Engage in communication with development teams, business stakeholders, and various functional areas

• Possess a deep understanding of intricate business rules and legacy systems, particularly within the education sector

• Proactively foresee bottlenecks and risks to prevent impacts on the project timeline

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a field related to IT

• Proven experience in Python microservices architecture

• Familiarity with resilience patterns, RESTful APIs, and messaging/event-driven systems

• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines

• Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience in automating infrastructure

• Skilled in configuring, tuning, and modeling PostgreSQL databases for distributed systems

• Knowledge of both on-premises infrastructure and hybrid cloud environments

• Capability to steer and influence open-source solutions while adhering to client governance

• Proficient in engaging with technical teams, business units, and functional departments

• Quick to learn complex business rules and legacy systems, especially in the education sector

• Proactive in identifying bottlenecks and risks ahead of schedule impacts
