Solutions Architect, New Business

📋 Description

• Lead technical discovery sessions, demonstrations, and validations, including proofs of value.

• Take charge of technical evaluations as the accountable individual, encompassing solution design, ownership of POC/POV, workshops, tenders, audits, and value stream assessments.

• Collaborate with New Business Account Executives and regional EMEA sales teams to develop account strategies.

• Foster relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders.

• Assist customers in navigating their GitLab-driven digital transformation journeys.

• Provide guidance on contemporary software development, CI, CD, security, and cloud methodologies.

• Convey customer feedback, use cases, and competitive insights to Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams.

• Maintain a deep understanding of GitLab, DevSecOps, AI, and cloud technologies.

• Develop reusable examples, best-practice guidance, and technical documentation.

• Commit to continuous learning, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience engaging with customers in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar functions.

• Strong knowledge of the complete software development lifecycle.

• Familiarity with modern DevSecOps practices and CI/CD workflows.

• Practical experience with GitLab or similar source control, CI/CD, and collaboration platforms.

• Understanding of cloud computing principles and associated technologies.

• Capability to lead proofs of concept or proofs of value, tenders, audits, workshops, and value stream assessments.

• Excellent technical communication and presentation abilities.

• Skill in building trusted relationships and advocating for customers.

• Desire to engage in ongoing professional development.
