Solutions Architect – MENA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the technical design and implementation of customer projects across the MENA region, from the initial kickoff to the production cutover.

• Spearhead technical discovery, proof-of-concept designs, and assessments for regional prospects in collaboration with Account Executives.

• Create tailored solutions that align with each customer’s technological stack, constraints, and data residency needs.

• Represent Deepgram to Arabic-speaking clients and at regional industry events.

• Convey Arabic-language customer insights, including model performance across various dialects, to the Product and Research teams.

• Develop reusable implementation frameworks, reference architectures, and deployment guides.

• Assist with complex cases post-onboarding within the region.

• Contribute to expanding team coverage during APAC hours as the team scales.

• Complete onboarding, observe implementation engagements and discovery calls, then take charge of engagements and technical relationships for assigned regional accounts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native or professional-level proficiency in Arabic.

• Exceptional written and spoken English skills.

• Based in the MENA region (preferred), or elsewhere in EMEA, in a country where Deepgram's employment partner supports hiring.

• More than 4 years of experience in implementing or deploying technical solutions for enterprise clients, preferably in customer-facing technical roles.

• Strong software engineering background with professional development experience in at least one modern programming language, such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Rust, or similar.

• Proven experience in leading the technical delivery of production deployments, from design through to cutover.

• Demonstrated ability to scope complex technical tasks and sequence them for successful execution.

• Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.

• Familiarity with multiple Arabic dialects (Egyptian, Gulf, Levantine, North African) is preferred.

• Experience with speech recognition, natural language processing, AI voice agents, or similar AI technologies is preferred.

• Knowledge of AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes is preferred.

• Experience with SIP, WebRTC, and WebSocket streaming is preferred.

• Proficiency in French is preferred.

• Understanding of procurement, information security, and data residency requirements in the region is preferred.
