Solutions Architect – Insurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Interact with clients to comprehend their needs and recommend suitable solution architectures.

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers to ensure alignment between client requirements and solution design.

• Partner with Delivery Managers to monitor the architectural strategy during the deployment of solutions.

• Investigate potential options and creative alternatives to discover effective solutions.

• Guarantee that the designed solutions are executed in accordance with client expectations and company standards.

• Identify, define, and select off-the-shelf components to fulfill client requirements.

• Offer continuous support and guidance to clients throughout the implementation phase.

• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in solution architecture design and delivery roles within the insurance sector, with exposure to various lines of business.

• Proven experience in delivering cloud-based technology product solutions in an enterprise setting.

• Capability to define and communicate a product/enterprise roadmap.

• Proficient in translating client requirements into actionable steps and solution architectures.

• Familiarity with business architecture models and patterns.

• Experience in designing and implementing innovative solutions to business challenges.

• Knowledge of optimal strategies for highly available and scalable cloud-based applications.

• Experience in designing solutions for relational databases and NoSQL environments.

• Background in designing API- and microservices-centric environments.

• Ability to self-learn new technology trends and methodologies.

• Familiarity with authentication and authorization concepts, including SSO, SAML integration, and identity federation.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to discuss solution strategies and enterprise roadmaps with stakeholders across all organizational levels, including CxO and project-level client teams.

• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to gather and understand business requirements from corporate clients.

• Capability to create value propositions, solution documents, and, when necessary, business cases for corporate clients.

• Experience in relationship management with corporate clients.

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Strong decision-making and judgment abilities.

• Understanding of insurance business processes across all areas and at least two lines of business.

• Proactive planning and systematic approaches to work.

• High proficiency in English as the primary working language.

• Experience with multiple development languages and various database engines is beneficial.

• Familiarity or experience with low-code platforms is preferred.

• Architecture certification such as TOGAF or Zachman is a notable advantage.

• Cloud-environment certification is a notable advantage, along with comprehensive knowledge of the platform’s capabilities.
