Senior Data Developer – AI Solutions Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to grasp context, challenges, and fundamental needs.

• Convert intricate requirements into comprehensive technical specifications for AI and analytics platforms.

• Manage data products from ingestion through modeling, transformation, validation, delivery, and monitoring.

• Establish validation processes, automated testing, and quality assurance checks.

• Maintain data accuracy, integrity, and alignment with business metrics and KPIs.

• Design data transformation layers using consistent business rules.

• Provide datasets for dashboards and AI applications.

• Work alongside AI teams on structured data, data dictionaries, and models.

• Develop and sustain multi-source data ingestion pipelines using SQL and Python.

• Ensure optimal solution performance and scalability.

• Identify opportunities for improvement and suggest innovative solutions.

• Deliver dependable data solutions through agile, high-quality iterations.

• Articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Facilitate alignments, present solution proposals, and document modeling and architectural decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a senior-level Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering role.

• Advanced skills in SQL and Python for data analysis, transformation, and validation.

• Strong background in data modeling and data warehouse design.

• Practical experience with BigQuery or another cloud-based data warehouse platform.

• Capability to comprehend complex business logic and validate results from a business standpoint.

• Strong sense of ownership and a proactive approach.

• Experience in specifying and preparing data requirements for AI or machine learning applications.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

• Proven track record of delivering high-impact projects swiftly and with quality.

• Nice to have: experience with dbt.

• Nice to have: familiarity with Airbyte or Airflow.

• Nice to have: knowledge of automated testing best practices and CI/CD for data pipelines.
