Azure Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Create solutions within Azure Government environments

• Develop comprehensive technical solutions that meet business needs

• Generate architecture diagrams, design documentation, and implementation timelines

• Architect secure cloud-native and AI frameworks utilizing Azure services

• Set technical standards and perform architecture evaluations

• Mentor engineering teams and ensure adherence to design guidelines

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, and Delivery teams

• Assess AI use cases and incorporate AI functionalities into enterprise solutions

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in designing solutions within Azure Government environments

• Proficient in networking, security, identity management, compute, and platform services

• Capability to create end-to-end technical solutions that align with business requirements

• Demonstrated experience in producing architecture diagrams, design documents, and implementation roadmaps

• Familiarity with Zero Trust, RBAC, MFA, Key Vault, and identity integration

• Knowledge of government compliance frameworks such as NIST, CMMC, and FedRAMP

• Experience with Azure App Services, Functions, API Management, AKS, and integration services

• Understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, and contemporary application patterns

• Proficient with Azure DevOps/GitHub and CI/CD methodologies

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation strategies

• Knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and solutions based on Copilot

• Proven ability to design secure AI architectures using Azure AI services and responsible AI principles

• Skill in evaluating AI use cases and merging AI functionalities into enterprise solutions

• Ability to establish technical standards and perform architecture assessments

• Experience mentoring engineering teams and ensuring design adherence

• Capacity to collaborate across Product, Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, and Delivery teams

• Strong communication and leadership abilities

• Proficient in advanced conversational English and Spanish; language skills will be assessed

• If residing in Mexico as a foreigner, must possess a valid INE, CURP, NSS, and RFC

• Must be based in Mexico

• Must hold a valid visa to work in Mexico
