Solutions Architect III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive solution architectures that encompass various applications, integrations, and technology platforms.

• Convert business needs into scalable, secure, and maintainable design solutions.

• Establish integration methodologies utilizing APIs, messaging, and service-oriented architectures.

• Work closely with Enterprise Architects and Cloud Architects to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and strategic goals.

• Produce architecture documentation, solution diagrams, technical design artifacts, and Architecture Decision Records.

• Oversee architectural guidance across significant initiatives and complex solution delivery projects.

• Offer architectural support and mentorship to engineering teams and Solution Architects.

• Assist in technical decision-making, design evaluations, and architecture governance.

• Develop an enterprise integration strategy, standards, and reusable patterns across cloud, SaaS, and on-premises platforms.

• Create solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure and SaaS/PaaS platforms.

• Facilitate DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code deployment strategies.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Relationship Managers, and engineering teams within SAFe Agile Release Trains.

• Engage in backlog refinement, planning, and solution decomposition activities.

• Assess emerging technologies and architecture patterns.

• Contribute to AI, automation, data platform, and digital transformation efforts.

• Lead solution architecture for enterprise-wide initiatives and intricate cross-system integrations.

• Shape technology decisions and act as a trusted advisor to both business and IT stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 10+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, systems design, or architecture roles.

• 7+ years of experience in senior technical leadership, solution architecture, or leading engineering positions.

• Proven experience as the lead Solution Architect for large, multi-system, or enterprise-critical projects.

• Expertise in designing solutions that involve multiple applications, services, and enterprise integrations.

• Strong background with Microsoft technologies, particularly Azure.

• Experience in architecting cloud-based and modern SaaS/PaaS solutions.

• Deep understanding of API and integration architectures.

• Familiarity with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Event-Driven Architecture patterns.

• Experience in supporting DevSecOps practices, CI/CD automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).

• Knowledge of identity, security, and access management principles.

• Experience in Agile and/or SAFe delivery environments.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
